A little back story on me: I was adopted from Russia when I was 5 and a half. I have lived in North Carolina all my life since then. I graduated from University of Mount Olive with my Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology. Currently, I am working full time in base housing through Corvias and absolutely love working with my team and the families we help. As a wife and athlete I stand by my husband many hours a week at CrossFit Bohica as we workout, put on events, and photograph our members and coaches committed in action. I'm the book reading, mountain hiking, drop everything and go kind of gal. Don't ask me twice to hang out with family and friends as the answer is always YES. Needless to say, this girl does not sit around a whole lot and always getting into something.  OH! Our family is growing and we will have a little boy here to join us around December 26th! As if life could not get any busier or fuller.

Photography has been a passionate hobby of mine since I was in middle school. To this day I have not been able to retire the camera. I love the opportunity photography has provided in allowing me to be creative. There is also a great thrill in the perception captured on the other side of the lens that most clients least see coming. 

 

Taking shots is addicting to me.  Not drinking shots(but I am Russian)... As a photographer I am afraid of every moment I might miss when I put the lens on too soon or pack my camera up too early. You may call me a photo enthusiast and if you have had sessions with me you know I like to try as many possible candid shots in the time I have with you and may extend your session time because I see the opportunity to take more.

I've been known to take pictures of places, animals, food, newborns, events, families, weddings, and so on. I honestly will bring my camera with me wherever I go. I, as a photographer, most enjoy family and child photography. There is astounding love and history behind every maternity, family, newborn, holiday, engagement, wedding, and announcement to name just a few that always bring great joy. Every person and every family has a story. Photography allows me to gain perspective through these stories.
